Upgrading the flooring is the quickest way to change the aesthetics of any home. Combined with new baseboard and freshly painted walls one can completely change the style of a home, modernizing it and adding value.
We start with an in-home consultation. We come to your home. Take measurements, photos and discuss your vision for the space. Next we set up an appointment with one of our designers at our beautiful showroom. Located right across the freeway from Citizens Bank Arena. Here we design the entire space. Coordinating and selecting the flooring, baseboard and any accent features such as borders, decorative accents, medallions and the like. Finally, with all the designs selected, a quote is generated.
A second showroom appointment is scheduled to add or delete line items and make any final changes to the estimate, sign contracts, deposit payment and review the scope of work. At this point all the pertinent materials are ordered and a tentative construction start date is established.
Working together you and our project team members will define the logistical requirements for the construction process, such as areas for deliveries, placement of barricades and dust barriers (if required) and hours of operation.
During the construction process, we will provide up-to-date information with respect to changes that have occurred. It is rare changes are made due to uncovered structural damage, though is does happen. Most change orders are generated by the customer adding construction items to the project. These “extra work orders” or changes to the original contract are in writing and approved so you can be sure there are no surprises at the completion of your project.
While awaiting the arrival of materials your appointed designer will send medallion diagrams or any other clarifying details. This will ensure our readiness when all your material arrives.
When it comes time to begin your flooring project we will assign a project manager, field superintendent, designer and other staff members as required to effectively manage the construction process. Through this process you will have several points of contact with our build team to answer any questions and overcome any unforeseen obstacles uncovered during the construction process.
